The SCMA is a group of Catholic Healthcare professionals who live and work in Scotland. We share an interest in integrating our faith and work lives and aim to:

  • Provide a forum for Catholic healthcare professionals to meet and support one another
  • Provide educational opportunities that increase understanding of the Catholic faith and how it relates to different field’s in health and social care
  • Work together with others to articulate a clear, orthodox Catholic voice in relation to important bioethical issues

Our principal activities are educational and operate through the Turnbull Ethics Group at the University of Glasgow.
